The CPU is almost two times faster at 1GHz compared to 550MHz, there is double the RAM, plenty of storage space, and a new and improved keyboard. The screen stays the same: it's 3.7" with 854x480 resolution.

  The Samsung Captivate from AT&T is overall a solid device that feels high quality. It's made from a mix of metal, glass, and plastic. The wedge-like design makes the Captivate feel extremely thin. It's 9.9mm, which is just .6mm thicker than the iPhone 4. For the TV Out function, you have to buy a special adapter that fits into the microUSB port, which is hidden by a door. Next to that door you also have a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio.

  Droid X Hardware Review...
  Here's a look at the hardware of the Verizon Motorola Droid X. The 4.3" display is less wide and more tall compared to the HTC HD2, because it has slightly higher resolution in the virtical direction: 854 pixels, versus 800. Beyond that, the Droid X is a thin device. It has hardware buttons at the bottom of the screen. There is a fifth hardware button dedicated for the camera. The device has three microphones for use with the HD video recording. You can choose various scenes which will determine where the audio is being recorded from. Also included with the Droid X is a microHDMI type D connector. You can find this connector on eBay, so you don't have to buy one through Verizon.
