  Looking Back No More [WoW Machinima...
  AKA Blood Elves on Parade x3 Here is my first full length WoW machinima music video. It's done for the song "Looking Back No More" by LAOS and is mostly done in game with a few characters of mine (all blood elves x3) with a few things made in WoW model viewer. I had a lot of fun making this and it only took me a few days of random footage and editing. I certainly enjoy it, I hope you will, too. The basic premesis of this video is three blood elves finding their homes, the places where they want to be. Next up is my blood elf rogue (yes he's male x3). Where will his home be? Yes I know that Baron Soosdon did a video to this song, but that was with Aion and I couldn't get this song out of my head!!! Please don't compare me to him...I am no where near as good at this stuff as he is, so don't even do it, okay?

  These speed tests were filmed at actual web page rendering times. If you're interested in the technical details, read on! Equipment used: - Computer: MacBook Pro laptop with Windows installed - Monitor - 24" Asus: We had to replace the standard fluorescent backlight with very large tungsten fixtures to funnel in more light to capture the screen. In addition, we flipped the monitor 180 degrees to eliminate a shadow from the driver board and set the system preferences on the computer to rotate 180 degrees. No special software was used in this process. - Camera: Phantom v640 High Speed Camera at 1920 x 1080, films up to 2700 fps "Why does allrecipes.com in the potato gun sequence appear at once, and not the text first and images second? And why does it appear to render from bottom of the screen to the top?" Chrome sends the rendered page to the video card buffer all at once, which is why allrecipes.com appears at once, and not with the text first and images second. Chrome actually paints the page from top to bottom, but to eliminate a shadow from the driver board, we had to flip the monitor upside down and set the system preferences in Windows to rotate everything 180 degrees, resulting in the page appearing to render from bottom to top. The mission will uncover objects never seen before, including the coolest stars, the universe's most luminous galaxies and some of the darkest near-Earth asteroids and comets. Its vast catalogs will help answer fundamental questions about the origins of planets, stars and galaxies, and provide a feast of data for astronomers to munch on for decades to come. Thanks to next-generation technology, WISE's sensitivity is hundreds of times greater than its predecessor, the Infrared Astronomical Satellite, which operated in 1983. WISE will join two other infrared missions in space -- NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and the Herschel Space Observatory, a European Space Agency mission with important NASA participation.
